Graphic, ironic figure paintings/collages
"I love color, texture, shapes, and words. My work is vivid, graphic, and ironic. It amplifies and often exaggerates the subject. I have been exploring women's expression over time, often finding inspiration in a simple word from a vintage magazine. I am partial to exploring the female face and figure and the energy and emotion they transmit. I chose to celebrate them. I see my reflection in these figures and faces. I find strength in the community of women which surrounds me. I hope that others can look at my work and perhaps see a glimpse of themselves."
